I received this dress and over 100 other pieces from a friend who was a costume historian.

This dress is in beautiful condition and has all of the bells and whistles of a dress of this period, bias cut skirt, slips over head, gathered bust-line with slightly off the shoulder sleeves.

I assume the fabric is rayon ( though it’s not listed) and can be hand washed. The dress is dotted with floral bouquets in pink and blue with Swallows flying throughout it. This item has been hand washed and is ready to wear.

The label says “TEXTRON 12 Average Miss”. The dress is in near perfect condition. The only issue is a very light spot that is hard to see at the back. Please see last photo. (This same dress just sold on EBay for $350)
