■Overhaul/maintenance details
・HDD (HDD CF already)
  We converted the Transcend 2GB CF (new) to an HDD.
  A clean installation of Microsoft Windows 98 was performed to check the operation of the device.
  *Please delete after confirming operation. *

・FDD
  It has been disassembled and cleaned using an air blower and absolute ethanol, and its operation has been confirmed.
  The head has been cleaned using a wet head cleaner.

・DVD/CD drive
  Equipped with Hitachi LG DVD Super Multi Drive.
  This machine is connected to IDE (ATAPI) using a SATA-IDE conversion board.
  Loading has been confirmed using the driver that comes standard with Windows98 and MS-DOS 6.2. (No special driver is used, OS recognition and operation confirmed with standard driver)
  It has been cleaned with an air blower and absolute ethanol, and its operation has been confirmed.
  We have not confirmed the operation of the writing media. (Because I don't have Writer software)

・Built-in battery
  Replace the memory/date storage battery with a new one (replace with the same type)
  Date retention has been confirmed.

·Power supply unit
  Disassembly cleaning, electrolytic capacitor replacement
  Cleaned with air blower and absolute ethanol, and operation confirmed.
  The electrolytic capacitor of the power supply unit that is prone to load has been replaced (replaced with a Japanese electrolytic capacitor), voltage has been measured, and operation has been confirmed.
(There was no leakage from the electrolytic capacitor that was originally installed, but it was replaced as a preventive measure)

・Motherboard/front panel board/C bus slot
  Board removal and cleaning
  Cleaned with air blower and absolute ethanol, and operation confirmed.

・LAN
  Operation has been confirmed on Windows98.
  100Base-TX link up and Ping communication confirmed.

・SCSI-2 card (PCI bus)
  Equipped with BUFFALO IFC-DP
  Recognition operation has been confirmed with MS-DOS Ver6.20.

・Housing
  Replace the rubber feet at the bottom of the casing with new ones.
  The condition of the case (scratches, stains, dents, rust, etc.) is shown in the photos, so please take a look at them.
