For sale here is a car set of sun visor mounting brackets for the TR4 and early Spitfires.

These are new items which I have had manufactured in high strength ABS and stainless steel to the precise dimensions of the originals.

The rods are screwed into the mounts, meaning that they cannot fall out and the ABS plastic is considerably stronger than the original cast alloy, meaning that they won’t crack or corrode. The stainless rods will not rust, which is one of the issues with the originals and the visor frames.

The bars on the centre mount mount are also milled at the ends so that the visor will stay up (or down) as the originals would have done when new, but as I find mainly too knackered to do any more.

These fit using the original countersunk coarse threaded screws (not supplied but available in stainless or bzp on eBay).
