Controls & Menu Navigation:
Change Brightness:
- Tap touch sensor (top-middle) of unit to cycle through 8 brightness levels
On Screen Display (OSD):
- Hold Start + Select (1s) to enter menu
- Tap Start or Select to cycle through options
- Hold Start (1s) to move to next option
- Hold Start + Select (2s) to exit Menu
Menu Options:- BRT - Brightness (8 Options)
- DSP - Display/Scanline Effects (5 Options)
- FRM - Frame Blending - improves rendering transparent objects
- LGC - Adjust preset "Game Boy Color" logo color
- R / G / B - Fine tune RGB values "Game Boy Color" logo color
- XST - Move playable screen area left/right
- YST - Move playable screen area up/down
Display (DSP) effects:
- 1 - Pixel Grid (Most similar to OEM Game boy Color display)
- 2 - No Scanlines (Clearest display option)
- 3 - Vertical Scanlines (Light)
- 4 - Vertical Scanlines (Medium)
- 5 - Vertical Scanlines (Thick)
No batteries included. Unit requires 1.5v AA Batteries (Alkaline or Lithium Ion) as the mods require higher delivery output. Many rechargeable NiMH batteries are 1.2v. The unit will power on, but will possibly experience power-delivery issues if using NiMH batteries. Please ensure you are using the correct type of batteries.
