This bike is in excellent condition.  The Rohloff hub (14 gears) operates via a Gilles Berthoud twist-grip on the handlebar.  Bottom gear is about 20".  Gears are equally spaced.  Thorn Cycles say these bikes are ideal for audax type events.  I have used it for light touring which has included many alpine passes - gear range perfectly adequate.  I'm 6'1".  Fits me well.  Handlebars could be lowered several centimetres.  Check Thorn website for their current prices on new models.

Original tyres - lack of wear will indicate how few miles the bike has done.
