BREAK-IN PROCEDURE

The break-in process is necessary for proper installation to ensure the best performance. During the process it is common to hear noises and squeals for about 1-2 weeks. Please follow these 3 steps below after you have installed your new set of brake rotors.

STEP 1

Find a safe location to perform the break-in process.

STEP 2

5 moderate or aggressive stops at 35MPH/56km to 5MPH/8km without letting the brakes cool down or coming to a complete stop.

STEP 3

5 moderate stops at 20MPH/32km to 5MPH/8km and let the rotors cool down after each stop.
