The DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT COMPUTER, DMC-100, is designed to measure linear distances from 1 foot / .3 meters to 50 feet / 15 meters, calculate air and volume. and perform arithmetic functions with its built-in calculator.

The unit utilizes an advanced ultrasonic ranging system, and is battery operated.  When the measurement button is pushed, the sensor sends out inaudible sound waves.  These bounce off the first major object in their path, and return as echoes.  The unit measures the length of time the echo takes to return, calculates the distance and displays it.

The display will show linear distances or square or cubic measurements in meters, feet and inches, or yards.

Temperature: The unit automatically compensates for differences in temperature, between 14º and 104ºF (-10º and 40ºC), using a temperature sensor located on the front edge of the unit.  To avoid a  misreading, allow about 15 minutes for the unit to reach ambient temperature.  By pressing the "T", the ambient temperature will be displayed in "C" or "F", depending on the setting of the units selector.

Calculator: The unit incorporates a standard four-function calculator (add, subtract, multiply, divide).  The calculator also can store --- and recall ---  up to 10 numbers.

All the units come in the original packaging and have never been used.  They are being supplied with brand new P100 Polapulse Batteries from Polaroid.  They come with complete instructions and a handy vinyl carrying case with a belt loop.
