Description: The Eucalyptus tree is a tall evergreen that grows over 250 feet tall. The young trees have bluish-green leaves, while mature trees develop long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale gray bark often covered in a white powder. This oil contains citronella, which adds a lemon-like tone to the familiar penetrating aroma of eucalyptus. Combine with lavender, red cedarwood and lemongrass to create an outdoor patio diffusion.

Common Uses: Eucalyptus Lemon Essential Oil is reputed to assist with ailments such as arthritis, bronchitis, catarrh, cold sores, colds, coughing, fever, flu, poor circulation and sinusitis. Lemon Eucalyptus helps people in protecting themselves from mosquitos, scabs, sores, asthma, fever, fungal infections, skin infections, and sore throat diseases. The CDC recommends the use of products containing active ingredients which have been registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use as repellents applied to skin and clothing.

Mixes well with: Pine, Thyme, Lavender, Rosemary, Marjoram, Cedarwood and Lemon.

Safety Information: Eucalyptus Lemon Oil should be used in dilution, and be avoided during pregnancy. It is considered toxic if taken internally, non-irritant and non-sensitive. Avoid if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy. We recommend doing a patch test after properly diluting the essential oil with a carrier oil of your choosing. Always dilute essential oils before applying to the skin.

Disclaimer: Please note, the International Federation of Aromatherapists do not recommend that Essential Oils, Carrier Oils, or Hydrosols be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy.
