I am not sure if this is a flag, banner, or uniform patch. But over the last year, I have acquired a large number of midget racing photos and programs from the Northwestern US. All c1940-50s. Many have sold and the last batches I have will be offered in the coming weeks. This patch is off white heavy stock cloth. 7" x 11". The red squares and numbers are sewn on along with the black flag trim. This looks like half of a checkered flag. There is a number 1/2 in pen to the right of the five. Interesting item.. If you know more, let me know.
