Fitment Note: Volkswagen made both 1- and 2-hole styles of fuel filters for these vehicles. Most of the 2005.5-2006 with VINs ending after 814062 require this 1-hole filter, but VIN verification is not always certain. The surest way is to look at the top of the fuel filter housing (see images below). Both styles have a top held on by five bolts, but on the 1-hole style's top has three tabs (two are longer with two bolts through each), whereas the 2-hole style's top has five tabs with each bolt attaching through its own individual tab.
