Hadafun type Buddhism sculptures is using authentic gold leaves and gold dust on body.

The hallmark of hadafun is flat back to lean on the wall or Bustudan's wall.

The best place is Nagoya (the 3rd largest city in Japan). Naygoya is the main city next Kyoto on Buddhism item industries.

Nowadays Japanese people have tendency to prefer naked woody sculpture or metal one to Hadafun. But originally, Buddhism sculptures were colorful and give a luster off. Almost personal sculptures in Edo period are Hadafun.

Today, Hadafun maker are decreasing. But I have direct deal with the maker. So, please take pleasure in this traditional style! You can select two kinds of Hadafun. one is authentic gold leaves with resin body. Another is authentic gold leaves with woody body. Resin one is not expensive than woody one.

Hadafun is the Buddhism sculptures that are using authentic gold leaves and gold dust.

It's comparatively rare style.
This style is called ITTOU RYOUZON which means one pagoda and two Buddha style.
"Namu MyoHo RenGe Kyo" is written on pagoda. This chant is used by believer of Nichiren sect.
Generally, Nichiren sect is making much of Daikoku-Ten, Kishimo-Jin and high priest, Nichiren, besides this chant. Therefore, it's comparatively rare style for Shakamunibutsu and Tahou-Nyorai are existing like this.
