A safe and reliable way to fit a narrower bar to a wider stem
UPDATE: 12 JULY 2022: latest stock of 22.2 - 25.4 has been updated with slightly different design and length - now 44mm long (previously 40mm) - please see photo
- Note: these are designed for bicycles but many customers have also used them on motorcycles or other vehicles to fit regular 22.2 to 25.4 bars or 25.4mm bars (Renthal etc) to 31.8mm ('fat' bar) clamps (two sets of two pieces required for motorcycles or bicycles with double clamps).
- Precision made shims in aluminium alloy. Two shims included in each set.
- Available in 22.2mm to 25.4mm (silver finish), 25.4mm to 31.8mm and 26.0mm to 31.8mm (black finish).
- Simply place one shim each side of clamp area on handlebar and insert into stem, tighten as normal.
- Width of 25.4 to 31.8mm shims is 48mm, the 26.0 to 31.8 is 44mm and the 22.2mm to 25.4mm shim is 44mm.
- Ideal when fitting a track or MTB or BMX bar into a larger stem, or a regular MTB bar into an oversize stem.
- Used by buyers for many other applications; clip on bars, exercise bikes, motorcycles, ATV's etc. etc.
