These were originally unused military surplus 5" barrels that after the war ended. They were then taken by Parker Hale in England & cut down to approx. 2 1/2", professionally crowned and then later installed in Victory Model surplus S&W revolvers, then new front sights installed on them. Then the guns were polished & blued & sold to the US as civilian guns. Underlug has been cut way, as pictured.
