Born in Holbrook, N.S.W. Pat has always had a love for drawing and enjoyed art during her school years.  Her interest in oil painting was kindled while on their property near Binnaway with her husband Bernard and four small children.  At that time, Pat had only limited time for painting.
When the family moved to the city to live she was able to devote more time to painting.

Pat has a natural talent and an understanding of the bush, which helps her to capture both the scene and the atmosphere on her canvas.  The quest to find suitable scenes has led to frequent painting trips with the other artists.  The subjects of these paintings have ranged from panoramas, serene rivers, lovely old gold mining towns and their characters, cows and sheep grazing in contentment and huge old river gums.

Pat is a member of the Royal Art Society of NSW.  An exhibition member of Ku-Ring-Gai Art Society, Pat has had many “two artist and more” exhibitions, plus sole exhibitions most years since 1980.

Many private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas have Pat’s paintings, including the Australian Artist Exhibition in London, Government of the Republic of China, Bank of America, The Rice Board, British Paints, Wormald International, Johnson & Johnson, Berger Paints in several countries, Commonwealth Bank London and Mitsubishi Electric, and in many management boardrooms
