~This mala is completely unique, one of my custom designs and the beads a predominantly brown yak bone and Red Jasper gemstones. Red Jasper an extremely protective stone and resonated with the base chakra. I have begun incorporating Tibetan Buddhist symbol beads (charms) into some of my designs and this big mala has 3: dorje marker beads, Om symbol and a small prayer wheel that actually turns!! I also have a matching wrist mala, if you are interested in a matching "set": please see the picture of both malas together, above.~

~The brown yak bone beads show nice natural variation in color and please be assured that the beads were made from yaks that have died a natural death only! They contrast beautifully with the semi-precious gemstone Red Jasper. They are around 7 - 8mm wide and slightly smaller in height, around 6 to 7mm.~
 
~Pictured below is the matching wrist mala!!~
~The Red Jasper appears in 4 places. The 9mm guru bead and tube bead are Red Jasper, as well as the 3 counter markers, that were created by placing a 6mm Red Jasper bead on each side of a silver dorje charm bead.~
 
~Below the Red Jasper guru and tube beads there is a silver bail that holds a silver OM symbol and an amazing little prayer wheel with a tiny blue bead: the prayer wheel actually turns!! I have circled the 3 dharma beads below: turquoise for the dorje bead, purple for the OM and bright green for the prayer wheel, with the tiny blue bead circled in red.~
 
~This generously sized malas measures 31 inches around and is strung with some looseness, to make sliding the beads easy. It is further embellished with a shimmery black tassel that is approximately 2 inches in length.~
