Up for auction is an *original* old miniature watercolor painting of a couple dancing.  It comes in the original frame (behind glass) and is painted on the B. Dondorf postcard.  There's a strong possibility the painting was done by
JOHN HENRY BACON (b. 1868 - d. 1914), a listed British painter and illustrator.  
His work can be found on postcards and playing cards (google John Henry Bacon for more info and/or examples of his work).  
The 2nd, 6th (the book/illustration) and 7th photos are examples of his work and are NOT included in this auction.  They're for reference purposes only.
Since the painting is NOT signed, it is being sold "IN THE MANNER OF John H. Bacon". 

The painting dates to the late 1800's to the turn of the century and measures approximately 5.25" x 4" and in frame... approx. 5.75" x 4.25".   
When viewing the pictures of the auction item, please take note of the *actual measurements* of the item in description. 
In some cases, photos are enlarged to show detail.

 I'm up front about the cost for flat rate S&H and please keep in mind that ebay takes a percentage of mailing costs which unfortunately has to be factored in as well.  As do materials, time to package, cost to and from the post office… you get the idea.  I'm also clear on mailing once a week.  You may bid and/or buy store items after I’ve already been to the post office for the week, so there’s a possibility that your item(s) will be mailed the following week.  Having said that, please don't leave less than a 5-star rating with regard to shipping and costs associated if you’re going to bid.  I think the terms are clear.   Thank you in advance.
