June 23, 1887 advertising cover from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Durham, Connecticut.  For the Carey Brothers & Grevemeyer Company, stationers, booksellers, and wall paper manufacturers.  Allover front shows their factory, a train, and horse and wagons.  Stamp tied by a smudged Philadelphia duplex.  Nice strike of an interesting Durham split ring circular date stamp as a receiver on reverse.  Ink smudges, wear/stains, see scans.
