Pretty unique & beautiful is what comes to mind with this cool looking Retro Fish Tank Vase done by Horton Ceramics which was based in Eastland, Texas  over 40 years ago. I wonder if this piece was actually painted by Geraldine Horton herself? To the naked eye it doesn't look that difficult to produce & paint, but it does take alot of skill to produce a piece of ceramic clay pottery such as this-then make it look good and last for decades as this one has. Even though its a 2 piece molded vase, it still had to be put together and look as though it was one piece. Then these cute little colorful fish had to be applied to it. Then finally it was fired in a kiln. All along your hoping the glaze comes out as it should. It's actually a daunting process where so much could go wrong. But in this case it didn't, and here you have a work of art done by a small business owner from Eastland, Texas over 40 plus years ago. Great piece of Southern Pottery that is simple, but very interesting to say the least. Size is 6" 3/4 inches wide by 3" 3/4 inches deep(center front to back side) and finally its 3" 3/4 inches tall.  It weights 1 & 1/4 pounds by itself. Packaged with soft white wrapping paper, then bubble wrapped. I also use plenty of styro peanuts in box for added protection. Shipped right away No Delays.
