From the fine folks who brought us the Salem Witch Trials in the 1690's, comes another strange and unusual item.  These were purchased at a salvage freight sale a few years ago, and we inadvertently hid them from ourselves until recently.  They were received in an unmarked box, and we packaged them in heavy Ziplok bags.  These are very nice caps, and they "ought to be good for something."  They would make a nice sleeve bearing for an outdoor swing or other contraption that gets exposed to the weather.  Sold in convenient lots of four, because that's how many would fit in the bags.
