The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien. This is a hardcover book with original dust jacket and is dated 1977. The copyright page states that this is a "FIRST PRINTING" and also a "First American Edition" and of course has a full number line of 10987654321. This 1st printing copy also has the error "Father Giles of Ham" and the 'other books by' page. The book is in used but good condition with a little edge/corner bumping on the boards and a slight spine lean. It is also complete with the fold-out map still glued inside near the back. The dust jacket has some edge/corner tears, light stains, and some dirtiness in places. Scarce 1st printing. See picture and please e-mail me if you have any questions.
