Our carefully designed cartridge holder is the proper fit. We fabricate using a strong, durable high quality plastic that and is much stronger than the original and won't warp or bow like injection molded plastic. Our cartridge holder is the same width, length, and shape as the original cartridge holder to insure a solid and complete fit both the 980 and 990 tonearms.  

Like the original cartridge holder we carefully assemble them and feature a correct size 3-48 heat staked threaded brass screw insert that is slightly raised like the original for an easy and secure installation. 

Our cartridge holder features spring-loaded gold plated contact pins for an excellent audio signal connection. And our high quality multi-strand wires terminate with sturdy split-barrel cartridge connectors made a premium alloy which are then soldered on using high quality silver based solder.
