This is a brand spanking new 4 Position Keyed Ignition Switch.   This is a genuine Pollak switch not a mainland Chinese copy like some of the others on eBay.   5 year AutoReWire warranty on this switch.  Perfect replacement switch for many vehicles and equipment.   Do not rely on Compatibility Listings.  Remove your old switch and make sure that the hole in your dash is the same and that the wiring will attach to this switch without issue.

This switch is the original factory switch for many buses, trucks and equipment.  Perfect for hot rods, pickups, custom vehicles, off road vehicles and equipment with diesel engines requiring a glow plug warming position.  Comes with GM style keys as shown.  Requires a Glow Plug Solenoid for installations with glow plugs drawing over 30 amps.

It mounts in a 1" (26mm) diameter hole.

Maximum dash thickness is 1/8" (.126") 3.2mm.

A Little History
The Joseph Pollak Corporation was established in 1909 in Boston, MA to supply electrical switches to the fledgling automotive industry.  Buy 1930 Pollak was the main supplier of switches to the Ford Motor Company.  Since its founding days Pollak has supplied switches to all of the major American automobile and heavy truck manufactures.  In 1988 Pollak was acquired by the Stoneridge Company.  In 1992 Stoneridge acquired the Transportation Electronics Division of General Instruments located in El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico.  In 1992 Stoneridge acquired the power door lock actuator business unit from Kelsey-Hayes.  In 1998 the Company acquired Hi-Stat Manufacturing Co., Inc. a leading supplier of vehicle sensor and switch products.  In 2004 a joint venture was established with the Minda Group based in New Delhi, India one of India's major automotive suppliers where this switch was manufactured until late in 2014.  In 2005 the Company established a new subsidiary in Suzhou, China, for the manufacture of sensors, switches, electronic instrumentation and other related electromechanical products for the automotive and commercial vehicle markets.  A new state of the art die casting and assembly plant was opened in Taiwan in 2014.  This switch is being manufactured in the USA.
