A problem that many people face is a build-up of film or protein on the water surface. Left unchecked, this film can restrict the exchange of Oxygen on the water surface and cause distress to your fish. Not to mention is also not aesthetically pleasing!

Our combined Lily Pipe with Surface Skimmer solves this problem by sucking a portion of the surface water, and any film that's on it, into your filter where it is removed, leaving you with a perfectly clear water surface.

The volume of water skimmed from the water surface can be regulated using the flow adjuster at the base of the lilly pipe.
