 KEN FARROW captures the diversity of landscape from Australia’s beaches to the mountains and beyond to the Outback. The soft colour, reflected light, and overwhelming sense of beauty and peace that characterise his work depict with extraordinary clarity our inspirational Australian tapestry.

A professional artist for some 30 years, Ken Farrow has studied the techniques and methods of the Australian impressionists: in particular, David Davies, Charles Condor, Robert Johnson and John Rowell. Initially working in watercolour and poster paint, which was the forerunner of acrylic, he developed his expertise in oils through tuition from J. Timmerman and a long association with the legendary John Cooper.

Born in Suffolk UK where he studied Fine Arts and Technical Drawing, Ken’s move to Australia brought him into regular contact with artists such as Hugh Sawrey, Frank DeSilva and Patrick Kilvington, whose knowledge and advice over the years has encouraged his artistic evolution.

Ken Farrow now lives in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. His career has gone from strength to strength, spanning the continents and delighting art collectors worldwide.
