An article published
in the June 2016 issue of the Journal of Leukocyte Biology states what
zapper enthusiasts have known for years - that the application of a

Remember, the metal of the terminals does not matter, because electricity travels only on the outside of a conductor, & the power used in Revitalizer zappers is enough to kill microbes of all kinds while it kills pain, but is far too small to cause metal-ion-migration thru skin, should the terminals touch skin.

Terminals often
discolor due to the heat of soldering the wires to them, as well as
during use. This really doesn't matter because so long as your Zapper's
LED flashes, it's working. Terminals are easily cleaned with a bit of
metal polish & a cotton swab, if discoloration from use annoys you.
If discoloration occurs when you use a Zapper, it indicates
'something healing' is occurring with use.
Discoloration from the heat of soldering is essentially impossible to
remove; it is due to local changes in the alloy of the pennies which
have no effect on the effectiveness of Indian Maid's zappers. Do not wire brush, sand or use abrasive cleaners on the terminals; this voids the warrantee.
Indian Maid's units are made with military-spec parts and lead-free solder. There are no more precise parts available. Indian Maid Products Incorporated has always been "green", being run according to the tenets of Lakota Traditionalism.
