Two-part TV crime thriller following DS Charlie Zailer (Olivia Williams) and DC Simon Waterhouse (Darren Boyd) as they investigate different murder cases. In 'Point of Rescue' a woman and her young daughter are found dead in their home but the cause of death is unclear and the alibi of the woman's husband, Mark (Rupert Graves), is questionable. Meanwhile, Mark's ex-mistress, Sally (Amy Beth Hayes), turns up having heard the news. In 'The Other Half Lives' a woman at her local gym seeks Charlie's advice after her boyfriend claims to have killed someone despite his supposed victim being alive. When the detective takes a closer look at the situation, she discovers someone has indeed been murdered...
