The Adirondack High Peak list has a rich history; attracting climbers for nearly 100 years. These 46 peaks were initially thought to be all the summits in New York's Adirondack Mountains above 4,000' with at least 300' prominence. Updated survey data has shown that isn't completely accurate, but the original list remains. Climbers who have completed this list are welcome to join the Adirondack Forty-Sixers club, or '46ers' for short. This map is perfect for anyone interested in these mountains.
