A stunning oil on canvas attributed to the circle of Richard Hayley Lever and the St Ives School. He was known not to sign his impressionist works and this work dates to March 27th 1926.

The work depicts rooftops looking down on to the harbour at St Ives with the pier below.

Painted in a light impressionistic impasto style he captures the light and movement beautifully. 

 
Provenance. Birmingham collection.

Condition. Oil on canvas, image size 18 inches by 12 inches. In excellent condition.

Frame. Gilded oak frame, 24 inches by 18 inches. Excellent condition.
