The Super Cooler Performance Wrap is a personal under garment which uses state of the art “convection” technology to control the wearer’s body temperature in hot climates and during strenuous activity.
1. If you plan to use your new Super Cooler right out of the package, soak it in cold water for about 20 minutes, pat it dry and it’s ready to use. 2. You’ll notice a small amount of the non toxic gel escaping from around the collar stitching. 3. Don’t worry this is normal and will subside after break in. Simply brush the gel off into the sink. Though the Super Cooler works well using room temperature water, we have found that using cold water enhances the “heat sink” properties of the units. To prepare the unit in advance, you can soak it the day before your event, stick in a zip lock bag and throw it in the refrigerator. Tests show the Super Cooler reduces the negative effects of an elevated body core temperature by quickly drawing heat away from the surface of the skin and dissipating it into the air through evaporation.
