24 Cupcake Toppers on Wafer / Rice Paper
At the
Cake Decorators Boutique, we print onto edible wafer sheets and iced sheets.
Our clients always ask what the difference is and we tell them the following:
WAFER PAPER (ALSO KNOWN AS RICE PAPER)
The main thing you need to know about
rice paper is that the picture quality will not be as good as an iced sheet.
This makes it less suitable for high detailed images and photographs.
They are great for children’s parties and putting on cupcakes or for individual
shapes such as flowers and butterflies.
Wafer paper is quicker to apply as it
doesn’t have a backing sheet. You just cut out your image/s (if needed) using
sharp scissors or a craft knife and put onto your cake.
ICING SHEETS (ALSO KNOWN AS FROSTING SHEETS)
Icing sheets are thin layers of icing that have been compressed onto a flexible
plastic backing sheet. Clients prefer them to rice paper as the colours are
more vibrant and the picture quality is sharper. Icing sheets also blend into
the iced surface of the cake, giving a more professional appearance.
Iced sheets are suitable for placing
on butter cream, chocolate, royal/glazed icing, fondant, marzipan and whipped
cream. Icing sheets can be cut to desired shapes and sizes using a craft
knife.
All toppers
will be sent via Royal Mail and enclosed in a sealed bag.
International
Shipping is available on most items but the import tax must be paid by the
customer.
If kept
in the provided sealed bag the topper can be kept for up to 6 months.
If there
is ANY problem I would appreciate you contacting me before leaving feedback.
