Die Cristalleries de Compiègne wurde von David Gueron im Jahre 1926 gegründet. Die Signatur setzt sich aus den Anfangsbuchstaben des Inhabers D (phonetisch = De) und G (phonetisch = Gue) zusammen. Die Firma produziert bis zum Jahre 1939 Lampen und Vasen im Genre von Daum Nancy, Lalique etc. Es entstanden bis zur Schließung im Jahre 1939 die schönsten und hochwertigsten Pressgläser dieser Zeitepoche.

The „Cristalleries de Compiègne” factory was grounded by David Gueron in 1926. The signature is composed by the initials of its owner D (phonetically = De) and G (Gue). The factory produced until 1939 lamps and vases of the genre of Daum Nancy, Lalique etc. Until its closing in 1939 the most beautiful and highest quality pressed glasses of this époque were produced here.

Die hier angebotene Lampe ist ein Zeugnis der exzellenten Glaskunst dieser Zeit, eine Antiquität von bleibendem Wert und ein Schmuckstück für jede Wohnung, sehr gut kombinierbar mit moderner Einrichtung. Lampen in dieser handwerklichen Qualität sind heute fast nicht mehr zu finden, die Preise bewegen sich weit höher als hier angeboten.

The lamp we offer you here is an evidence of the excellent glass arts of that time, an antiquity of unchanged worth and a real gem for every home, which can also be excellently combined with modern furnishing. Lamps of this workmanship quality are extremely rare to be found nowadays and the prices lay usually far higher.

Es ist 1 Brennstelle vorhanden, Originalfassung für französische Birnen mit Bajonettverschluss. Leuchtmittel wird mitgeliefert.

There is 1 lighting outlet, original socket for French bulbs with bayonet plugs. The bulb will be provided with the lamp.

Zustand:

Der Allgemeinzustand ist gut. Eine minimale Stecknadelkopf große Bestoßung an dem Mittelglas die allerdings nur bei ganz naher Betrachtung erkennbar ist und nicht störend ist. Normale Gebrauchsspuren bei dieser ca. 90 Jahre alten Lampe sind selbstverständlich vorhanden. Montur und Glas im Originalzustand, das Textilkabel sowie den Stecker haben wir erneuert.
Condition:

The general condition of the lamp is good. There is only one pin-head sized chip on the middle glass which is only visible on closer examination and is not disturbing. Of course, there are normal signs of use on this 90 year-old lamp. The frame and the glass are in their original condition, the textile cable and the plug have been renewed.

Elektrik:

Bei dieser Lampe handelt es sich um eine Antiquität, die Elektrik entspricht nicht den heutigen Sicherheitsanforderungen bzw. den heute gültigen VDE-Normen. Die vorhandenen Kabel und Fassungen werden, soweit vorhanden, kostenlos mitgeliefert, sind aber ausdrücklich nicht Gegenstand des Kaufvertrages.

Bei Inbetriebnahme müssen die gültigen VDE-Richtlinien beachtet werden, der Anschluss sollte nur von einer fachkundigen Person vorgenommen werden.

Please note that this lamp is an antiquity, so that the electrical system does not comply with the current security requirements of the current valid German norms. The corresponding cables and sockets will be, if available, supplied free of charge with the lamp, but they are explicitly no subject of the purchase contract.

At the initial start-up, the security regulations must be observed and the connection should be conducted by a competent person.

Die Gesamthöhe beträgt ca. 67,0 cm. Der außergewöhnlich große Glasschirm hat einen Durchmesser von ca. 40,0 cm und ein Gewicht von ca. 4,1 Kg. Der quadratische Standfuß hat ein Schenkelmaß von ca. 18,0 cm.

The glass shade is exceptionally large with a diameter of approx. 40.0 cm and a weight of approx. 4.1 kg. The square-shaped foot has a length of approx. 18.0 cm.
