Washing
SYNTHETIC FIBER: Comb it gently before washing it. Fill the sink with cool to lukewarm water and a capful of Woolite detergent. Let the wig/hairpiece soak in the water for 10 to 15 minutes and then squeeze the soapy water out. Drain the soapy water and refill the sink with clean cool to lukewarm water. Place the wig/hairpiece back in the water and rinse by swishing back and forth. Do not wring or twist or it will tangle. Squeeze out the excess water gently and pat between clean towels and hang it on the wig stand or any hanger to air dry. You can start combing and styling after it's completely dried.
HUMAN HAIR: Comb or brush gently before shampooing. Soak your wig/hairpiece in lukewarm to cool water with small amount of gentle shampoo in the sink for 5 to 10 minutes. Then gently squeeze and and swish and repeat 2 - 3 times. And apply small amount of conditioner on your palm and run through the hair. (Do not rub or scrub, especially at the root of the wig if you're washing a hand-tied wig because each knot will be undone).
Gently rinse out conditioner and squeeze out excess water and pat it between clean towels. Let it dry on a wig stand. You can use blow dryer if you're in a rush. And style with flat or curling iron as needed.
