Information: ThisT dynamic botanical folio is from M. P. Verneuil's scarce work Encyclopedie Artistique et Documentaire de La Plante. The work was published in Paris by Librarie Centrale des Beaux-Arts between 1904 and 1908.
Verneuil was considered the most talented pupil of the noted Eugene Grasset. Many of the striking lithographs feature coloring heightened with silver and gold.
