Information: This beautiful color folio is from Georges Remon's Interieurs Modernes. The work was published in Paris by Libraire de l'Art Ancien et Moderne circa 1900. Each lithograph featured Art Nouveau interior decoration.
The printing method by MM. Fortier-Marotte was unusual and created incredibly unique color lithographs that imitate watercolors. The printing method used color printing, pochoir, and hand-applied gouache highlights (mostly in white). Each was printed on special paper by MM. Breton and Co.
