About the brand: Dolce & Gabbana is an Italian luxury industry fashion house. The company was started by Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in Milan, Italy. Domenico Dolce was born on 13 September 1958 in Polizzi Generosa, Sicily. Stefano Gabbana was born on 14 November 1962 in Venice, and according to some sources in Milan, Italy (Gabbana, Stephano 2007). The two met in Milano in 1980 and worked for the same fashion house. In 1982 they established a designer consulting studio. In time it grew to become “Dolce & Gabbana”. They presented their first women’s collection in 1985 in Milan, where a year later their store would open its doors in 1986.

Two years later they launched their leotard line and in 1989 started designing underwear and swimming costumes (Domenico). Dolce and Gabbana started to export their products in Japan and other countries like the U.S. where they found their own showroom in 1990 (Gabbana, Stephano 2011). The same year they showed their men’s collections. They launched their first perfume Dolce & Gabbana in 1992 (Dolce & Gabbana 2011). They won the Woolmark award in 1991 and the prize “most feminine flavor of the year” in 1993 (Dolce & Gabbana 2007). They won an Oscar for best male perfume in 1996.

Please note that as with every delicate garment we post we try to minimise them being creased and crumpled in its packaging. However with suits we must advise that you may have a few small creases in it as expected and you may wish to have the suit pressed before being worn.

Sending an item overseas may actually be a lot a higher that you would expect, this is because all our items have to be sent both tracked and insured, which obviously bump up the cost.

Please note the postage we quote is non-negotiable. We are aware that Royal Mail offers a small package standard international rate, however this service is uninsured and untraceable.

RETURNS

Returns only apply to 'Buy-It-Now' listings.

Before deciding to return the item, you have a statutory duty to take care of the goods in your possession. This includes any packaging which forms part of the goods. For example, card, pins, tissue paper, plastic bag etc. Basically the item must be returned in the exact same condition as sent out to you. E.g.: Bundling a suit creased into a tiny bag is not acceptable.

Please note that we closely inspect and security mark all items before dispatching, therefore any deliberately damaged garments will not be refunded but will be returned to sender.

If your purchase does not fit you and you require a return for a refund, we are more than happy to do so, however all of our items have been measured as accurate as possible. If you require further measurements to ensure the correct fit, please email us before purchasing the item.

Please also note we do not offer refunds on P&P. This will be the ACTUAL postage paid for the item to be sent to you, not the capped P&P rate that eBay set. (E.g.: a suit to the UK costs approximately £9.00, NOT eBay's capped rate of £4.00). Return P&P costs are to be met by the buyer.

If you do need to return an item, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods and return back to us within 3 Post Office working days (Saturday included) from receiving the item from us. All items are sent recorded with traceable information when an item has been received and signed for.
