This is a great vintage wind-up Sweetheart Dancing Doll.
Doll comes in original ethnic costume -- possibly Native American?
Comes complete with key and original box.
This doll is made of hard plastic and has a wind-up mechanism in the back that you use the included key to wind up.
As soon as you wind the doll up, it starts dancing in a circle.
The bottom of the box reads 920, however, there could be more to the number but there is a label that may be partially covering the number.
Approximate measurements:
Doll stands 7 1/2" from bottom to top of headdress.
Box measures 8 1/4" X 4" X 2 1/2"
Made in N.W. Germany (stamped on the back of one of the legs).
These would make a great addition to your vintage toy collection!
CONDITION: This wind-up dancing doll in is vintage condition. The doll itself looks to be in near mint condition. I can find no flaws, however, I'm no expert. The original box shows signs of age. There are small tears on the front (one with tape covering it) and the cellophane sheet covering the front has pulled away. Also, some small areas here and there showing surface wear (please see pictures for more details).
