Due to a small number of customers over recent weeks refusing to pay for extra work, knowing full well how the service works, we have no choice but to charge full price till the repair work is complete.

REST ASSURED, you will be credited if it's a straight replate and proof can be provided to show what kind of work has been carried out by the replaters.

 

The service we are offering is as follows, you send your barrel to us, we chemically clean it, check for damage and re-plate back to the manufacturer's specification (quality control checked). It is then carefully packed and sent directly back to you.

 

Turnaround time for this service is currently 3-4 weeks. In some cases this may take longer (up to 3-10 days). We prefer to take our time with this service, as usually the quicker something is done, the less care has been taken, resulting in severe damage to the engine.

 

What does this service include?

• Barrel nikasil replate (In some cases also a repair, please see price list below!!)
• The barrel will be checked for wear and damage
• It will be chemically cleaned and shot blasted (so it looks like new)
• We will supply an optional replacement piston kit of your choice (Mitaka, ProX, Vertex or Wiseco) & small end bearing (OPTIONAL EXTRA)
• We will also supply an optional top end gasket kit (OPTIONAL EXTRA)

When you send your barrel to us, please ensure that you send with it your personal contact details (i.e. contact telephone number, e-mail address, return address, model and year of manufacture of bike and the services you wish to be carried out etc). Alternatively, you can telephone us or e-mail us prior to your barrel's arrival.
