The panniers are used lightly. I included an image that shows the only defect on the fiberglass shell. It is very minimal, I used a pen to show proportions.
The panniers latches work fine with locks working the way they should.
The quick locking mechanism works on both boxes fine. One can be locked, the other requires replacement of the lock. I have removed the lock already, please check with them for replacement.

The luggage is the same tough, abuse tolerant black fiberglass items we have always manufactured. Fiberglass is far superior to aluminum for this application. If you happen to drop or crash the bike, it DOES NOT DEFORM like aluminum. It may scuff but that can be rapaired by common body shop techniques any where on the planet. Additionally, individual parts (such as the lid) can be purchased to readily repair the damaged pannier
The Quick Latch allows installation or removal of the pannier from the rack in a few seconds by turning a key and flipping a lever. This allows you to carry the pannier into a hotel room or to sit on the ground for a chair at the campfire. Or maybe quickly switch out the hard bag for a soft bag like the 300072.
The 33 liter is sized at generously at 18 in / 457 mm long x 8 in / 203 mm wide x 15 in / 381 mm high to provide 33 liters of storage each. They top load with a sealed, hinged lid which is fitted with a rugged latch with a lock and matching keys. Large carry handles on the lid provide convenient tie points via the footman's loops at each end.
