This listing is for one Authentic Autograph Gold card of FRANCO COLUMBU, from 2008 Sport Kings Series B Trading Cards. The Signature is in Black Ink on card, numbered #A-FC1 on the back, in NRMT-MINT condition. According to Sport Kings, there were ONLY 10 Gold Autograph cards were made.
This item has been Professionally Authenticated by Beckett as "Authentic". Listing photo #3 shows the card just before authentication, when it was still placed within the original plastic Top Loader
with official Sport Kings sticker over it. Therefore how Beckett found it to be "altered" is beyond me.
Francesco Maria Columbu (August 7, 1941 – August 30, 2019) was an Italian bodybuilder, powerlifter, actor, author, producer, and a licensed chiropractor.
Originally a boxer, Columbu won the Mr. Olympia in 1976 and 1981, and competed in the inaugural edition of the World's Strongest Man in 1977, where he placed fifth. He also had an acting career and authored numerous books on bodybuilding and nutrition.
