No date of publication seen, but others who post this on the web identify the date as 1896. Also, no author name, just, "By the author of 'Earth's Many Voices, etc' on title page, and Elizabeth Saxby provided here also based on other internet listings. Published by he Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge, of the UK and New York. On an 18-page advertising section in back, four other books by the same author (name still unidentified) are noted including Earth's Many Voice's, Gerald's Dream, Sally Tramp, and The Bible Story.
Leather spine with wear top and bottom, blind stamp front board. Light edge and corner wear otherwise. Solidly bound, but book opens to half title page and it looks like there may have been a blank front endpaper which was removed. Previous owner name on half title page, no other markings in 109 clean and solidly bound pages, followed by the advertising section.
