Up for sale in this listing is a Sony VG-C77AM Vertical Grip in mint condition. (S/N 1C0095xx) The accessory has no wear to any surfaces other than some minor wear to the rubber grip on the base. The battery compartment is clean.
Terminal cap included.
The grip works perfectly. This is one solid grip, made specifically for the Sony A77 and A77II, and made just like the camera, with a magnesium alloy chassis. The VG-C77AM replicates all the exposure and shooting controls for the Sony A77 when the camera is held in the vertical position: Shutter release, aperture and shutter speed control dials, AF/MF, AE Lock, Exposure Compensation as well as the Fn and Mag buttons, and Quick Navi Joystick are all where the photographer instinctively expects them to be when this grip is used.
Besides offering comfort and convenience to the photographer, the vertical grip also enables the user the ability to double up on battery power by carrying two NP-FM500H infoLithium batteries inside.
The grip adds a little bulk to your camera by attaching easily to the camera’s base….there is even a slot in the grip for the A77/A77II battery compartment door to slip into.
This is probably one of the most useful accessories for the Sony A77 and A77II. Only a good carbon fiber tripod would supersede it in utility.
