here we have a greatly improved from the factory original ,, a stainless steel lifter plate with a re-designed pin that can be replaced quite easily ,, unlike the original which is scrapped when the pin wears out

this item needs fitting by someone versed in the marlin action as the pin works great when I tested it ,,

but as each  action can wear differently ,, a minor polish of the indent pin might be required
