You are buying one (1) authentic, vintage wooden jewelry chest.

This large, sturdy, impressive jewelry chest is constructed of dense hardwood finished in a dark, walnut stain. The corners are edged in hand-tooled brass trim, a 4-inch, circular brass emblem adorns the lid, and sturdy brass handles on each end match the brass drawer-pull in front.

The hinged lid and tongue-and-groove-constructed drawer each open to reveal bright red fabric-lined storage areas. The lid and drawer can be secured with a sturdy, brass hasp and locked with a vintage, brass lock. Opening the lock requires a two-pronged key which has been lost over the ages, however, a cotter pin serves the purpose, and two are included in this offer.

This chest weighs almost 10 pounds and measures approximately 13-7/8 inches long from side to side, 8-7/8 inches wide from front to back and 7-7/8 inches tall.

Although this chest is PRE-OWNED, it is in very good condition. The colors are vivid, and the details are distinct. There are no cracks or breaks. The lock works. Please note that there are some scrapes and scratches in the wood and some stains on the red fabric lining. See the photos for further clarification.
