Description

A top quality blue sapphire. Lightly heated to improve the color but with no other treatments. The blue is strong and rich but not so deep that the gem looks opaque; this one passes the light beautifully. All my gems and minerals come with a small free gift. The gift is intended as a little fun to go with your purchase: most are relatively cheap gemstones but there are also a few lucky ones which aren't! To make it interesting for those who want a challenge, the gem is only identified inside the slip of paper. I hope you enjoy the challenge as much as I always do.
