This is a very correct and high quality Ross steering box repair kit. This is the kit for the larger 15/16" sector shaft on the M38A1CDN, M38A1, and M170.  This kit contains the sector shaft bushings and seal, as well as the worm gear bearings and shims This kit will take a good 50% of the play out of your steering wheel. The M38A1 is the 24 volt military jeep with the rounded fenders built from 1952-1971. The M38A1CDN is the M38A1 for the Canadian military. 

Just so you know---sometimes the larger M38A1 box will be found in the M38 (flat fender jeep) but it is not original for the M38.  

Also, This kit will work with the odd ball 15/16" sector shaft with the narrow pins found in the M38.  QTM Parts
