In the late 1970s, I visited the EMI pressing plant in Hayes. I was given several drinks coasters which the staff produced from rejected pressings. The labels are still fixed to what remained of the discarded pressing and were, of course, the ideal size as a drinks coaster.
These coasters were never marketed or available commercially.
This one is for the 1978 red vinyl issue of The Beatles 1962-1966.
Condition: EX
Very slight scuffing to one side of the label but otherwise all very good with only moderate signs of use.
