I found this lovely vintage silk sari scrap from India. Fabric was gently washed.

Best parts were chosen for the outfit!

1-dress - Pretty silk dress in shades of blush pink, blue  and rose.

dress has-

• frayed hem
• lace, pearl and rayon ribbon bow
• Lined bodice in new white voile fabric
• fastens in the back with pearl bead and loop

2-slip -  Ivory lace slip has elastic waist and slips on.

3-hat -Hand crochet hat is made in soft ivory bamboo yarn.  It has a big silk fabric bow with pearls, and silk flower.

4-bloomers-  Matching silk bloomers have rayon ribbon bows, elastic waist and slip on.

Fit - this should fit most 18" dolls such as Kaye Wiggs Hope, Miki, 

Kimberly Lasher dolls and similar types of dolls.

Hope by Kaye Wiggs is modeling this outfit. Doll is not included.

18" doll - Bust -7 1/2" - Waist - 6" - Hips - 8"

 inseam to ankle -7 1/4" Shoulders 3"(from joint to joint) - 

arm pit to wrist-4 1/2"

This is an original handcrafted item, made by Me in my nonsmoking 

home!  Props, shoes and My lovely model doll are not for auction.  

 I have sewn for friends, family and others for over 40 years. 

I love to sew and put extra attention to details in each outfit. 

Such as matching designs, reinforcing seams, and back

tacking that gives the seams extra strength.  All seams on the

non stretch fabrics are finished with a  serged or zigzag stitch.
