This is a brand spanking new heavy duty Lever Action Spring Loaded Stop Light Switch for GM, Chrysler and Ford vehicles.  It also works great on Street Rods, Hot Rods and Custom vehicles where you want to use a mechanical switch instead of a hydraulic switch.

Take a good look at this switch because they make both a Left Hand and a Right Hand switch. This is the Right Hand Switch. Ford, Chrysler and GM used this switch on many early cars and trucks. If you need the left hand switch go to our eBay Store to purchase it. It also works great on Street Rods, Hot Rods and Customs where you want to use a mechanical switch instead of a hydraulic switch. This switch is normally open when the lever is compressed against the spring pressure of the switch. Spring pressure in the switch causes the circuit to close when you step on the brake lighting the brake lights.

This switch is normally mounted on the firewall or floorboard of the vehicle. The lever is compressed by the brake pedal against the spring pressure (down in the above picture ) to Open the Circuit (turn brake lights off). When you step on the brake pedal the lever is moved up by the spring pressure to Close the Circuit turning the brake lights on.

Mounting holes are taped for two 10-32 screws. Holes are 5/8" on center.

It uses two .156" diameter female bullet connectors.
