Carpenter's Half Broad Axe Hatchet Hammer "Made In The United States of America"

I don't know who made this but I do know where it was made.  It's still a good looking carpenter's
hatchet even with the chips in the edge.  It has an eight sided octagonal hammer that also has a
few chips.

Width of cutting edge:  3 3/8"
Poll to cutting edge: 6 7/8"
Weight:  1 pounds 12 ounces

I will be listing axes, hatchets, cleavers, and other edged tools and interesting items from a Berkeley
blacksmith and tool collector's estate.  He collected locally for many, many years and also purchased
items from eBay.  He shopped under 11axeman11 for awhile but then just used my account to
purchase and sell.  A good friend, greatly missed, with an estate that has many items.  This may take
awhile.

Most pictures will be with the cutting edge down so you can keep track of the sides of the piece.
Pictures of polls or sockets or other things will be different.

Many tools are heavy so I will be listing in flat rate boxes.  If you have won more than one auction, I
will be happy to combine the items in the most economical way that I can and ship to you in the least
amount of boxes.  In the past, I've managed to get over 10 hatchets in a large flat rate box and still be
below the 70 pounds limit.  Please wait for a combined invoice with the new shipping options before
you pay for your items.  It eliminates a lot of paperwork and contact with eBay if charges don't have
to be corrected (for me).

Returns accepted 14 days after item arrives.  Seller will pay for postage on items not as described
or damaged due to negligence of seller.  Buyer will pay for postage on items that were correctly
described and delivered but are no longer desired.

Please get in touch with any concerns so I can attempt to make it right before we involve eBay.
I will do the same for you.
