Temporarily discounted and on sale!

Up for sale is this fabulous Gibson ES-335 manufactured in 1967. This instrument is really in stellar condition, and would definitely qualify as a collector-grade guitar were it not for an all too common headstock repair. The repair was a pro job, and resulted in the re-spray of the headstock. It’s perfectly stable and means that this guitar is still ready to rock for many years to come.

There is very minor fret wear on the first few frets, but no real buckle rash or noticeable marks on the top, back or sides.

Apart from some very minor things, the guitar is original. It sports two original patent number pickups from the mid-1960s. The covers have not been removed and the solder is original. These are worth quite a bit on their own. The chrome is still bright and shiny on all the metal parts and you might be fooled into thinking they are new at first glance, but they all check out as original. The only changed parts are a new set of vintage style tuners. The original patent number bridge is currently set up with newer metal saddles, but the original nylon saddles are in the case.

The guitar is pictured in a late 1960s Victoria case. If you would like this case, please add $300 and contact me before purchasing so I can revise the listing.  Otherwise I will ship it in a modern, high quality hardshell case with red lining.
